Traceback publishes only AI summaries of real, cited sources — never AI-written reporting — and enforces it in the build: nothing ships without resolvable source URLs, retrieval timestamps, a named speaker and citation on every quote, and citations on at least 70% of its factual blocks. Tap Trace and a story x-rays itself: each paragraph grows a rail colored to its source, unsourced analysis goes dashed and dim, and tapping one source fades everything it didn't support. The wall is a structure, not a health bar: courses, a batter and a rubble core, damaged section by section, so working the low courses is how a breach actually forms. Ten castles, each with a weakness: mine under a tower, roll a belfry, or break their heart and take their surrender before winter closes the roads.

It is painted as a storybook gouache cross-section with genuinely simulated water: every chamber fills by conservation of volume through the paddle gear you crank, and a narrowboat floats only as high as the water you put under her. Twelve days carry you from a single lock to a staircase pair sharing one gate, then to side ponds that recycle half a lockful through a drought. Hang a stern on the cill or drain a pound and you will know it. Water is a budget; the flight is a machine.
