An interactive roots-reggae riddim and karaoke lyric stage for the song "The Sound of Aksum". The whole one-drop groove — wobbling dub bass, offbeat skank, a Nyabinghi hand-drum trio and a tizita-flavoured melodica — is synthesised live in the browser with the Web Audio API, while a reactive Ethiopian-flag visualiser (rising sun, spectrum ring, Aksum obelisk skyline) pulses with the bass. Walk through the Amharic verses and English choruses line by line, tweak tempo, mute voices and toggle the Dub FX.
