Write a marching band field show, then run it live. On an aerial drill chart you place each form and pick the counts for every transition; the game solves individual paths for two hundred marchers. The craft is making a beautiful morph marchable — nobody over the step rate, nobody colliding, intervals even. Then take the field and call the step-offs against a real brass-and-battery arrangement. Caption judges score music, visual and general effect. Eight nights escalate: curved forms, rotating blocks, a company front, a picture closer, a half band, a rain-slick field.
