CASTOFF is a deterministic traditional-grid roguelike/RPG built around physical equipment custody. The pilgrim owns four directional gear slots. Stepping onto a relic with a direction equips it in that slot and casts the old gear onto the tile just left. A hunter obeys the same law and can inherit the weapon you abandoned.
