Distance selects one of three public mallet-force bands; direction selects the exit side. A legal exact-force strike removes that stable identity, transfers signed impulse into every mass above it, follows the removed height's real fall time, retains landing drift and succeeds only when the rendered center of mass remains inside the rendered support line.
