Vellum Wake

An original portrait-first illustrated narrative puzzle. The harbor notary Mara Vey sits in one room represented by four independently movable horizontal vellum leaves: WEST GLASS, MARA'S FACE, BOTH HANDS, and SHIP LEDGER. Swipe each leaf between the room as it exists NOW and the same room as testimony remembers it THEN. Four margin notes describe temporal relations among the leaves. Seal the only composite image in which every sentence can be true.
